Join the grassroots volunteer team at Boston Friends for Refugee Support (BFFRS) as we honor refugees. The SHARE Benefit will bring together people who are committed to supporting refugees through the work of Eyes on Refugees, a local 501(c)3 nonprofit that works both in overseas camps and the Boston area. One highlight of the evening is the debut of a documentary that presents the human side of the refugee crisis by sharing first-hand accounts of two families who were forced to flee their war-torn lands and seek security on our shores.

So many of us are desperate to help with the international refugee crisis. But knowing what actions to take, where to direct our energy, and whom to trust can be challenging. Boston Friends for Refugee Support (BFFRS) is a platform for volunteers to unite in creative collaboration, exchange ideas, and act on various issues that impact the lives of refugees both locally resettled, and internationally displaced. In essence, our goal is to *help others be helpful.*
Our members are a diverse group of parents, educators, neighbors, sons, daughters, friends, co-workers, who are united by activism and a passion to help others. We are guided by one principle: to send global refugees the love and compassion they both need and deserve.
